I believe that how we feel physically affects how we are emotionally.
Since completing a Postgraduate Certificate in Counselling Studies, I have gone on to train in Complementary Therapies, including Swedish Massage, Indian Head Massage, Hot Stone Massage and Gentle Movement. The relationship between body and mind is complex, and I value the positive impact that massage can have for clients, whether they are coming to combat day-to-day stresses, or to manage longstanding physical issues.
I now offer complementary therapies tailored to suit each client in a warm and welcoming environment.
At the beginning of your first session, we will complete a consultation form which will help me understand more about what brings you for massage therapy and how your chosen treatment can be of most benefit to you.
For more information on the treatments available please see below. For any questions or to arrange an appointment please contact me on the above details.
A restorative general massage designed to relax or invigorate depending on your needs. This treatment uses smoothing, rolling or kneading techniques to warm up the muscles and ease away any tension. I use Songbird Naturals Massage Wax and offer a range of different treatment options depending on your needs for that day.
Hot Stone Massage
This massage uses minimal oil and flat basalt stones which are used to glide or rest on the body. The stones are used to bring heat to your muscles and create a deeper sense of relaxation, as well as to loosen any tight muscles and allow for a deeper massage.
Indian Head Massage
Indian Head Massage is a versatile massage that can be done seated or reclined; with or without oil. It is a deeply relaxing massage that focuses on the head, neck, shoulders and arms.
