An increasing number of people come to a place in life when they want to talk to someone about their challenges. I am practised at providing a space in which clients feel able to start to share. This sharing can be a relief for clients and the start of a rewarding yet challenging journey.
I am trained in both the person-centred and psychodynamic approaches. The person-centred approach can help with getting in touch with the hidden parts of ourselves to have a positive influence on our life. The psychodynamic part can provide insights.
As well as studying counselling and psychotherapy at the University of Edinburgh, I have studied organisational development and nonviolent communication (NVC). I have worked with facilitating the wellbeing of others for over 10 years.
I am an individual member of the BACP (British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy).
I am experienced in working with both adults and with children. At The Next Chapter we welcome people aged 16 and over.
The cost of the sessions will be £50 – reduced rates may be available for those earning below the National Living Wage.
