Counselling in Edinburgh

The Next Chapter is a group of qualified and highly experienced counsellors. We have chosen to work together as a collective of therapists around Edinburgh and online to provide an Edinburgh counselling service. We support one another in many ways through our online presence, shared training, resources, supervision groups, and social occasions. We are all committed to continuing reflection, development and learning so that we can support our clients with whatever they bring to therapy, and the collective is part of what makes this possible.

Anyone of us can help with:

  • Counselling
  • Anxiety
  • Depression
  • Mental health difficulties
  • Psychotherapy
  • Low self-esteem
  • Grief and Loss
  • Trauma
  • Relationship difficulties
  • Difficult life events
  • Transitions
  • Crossroads
  • Difficulty with Anger
  • Addiction
  • Loneliness
  • Work Related Stress
  • University Stress
  • Low-mood
  • General well-being
  • Identity Exploration

Some of our counsellors have also done additional counselling training or have a special interest in working with certain types of issues. (See individual profiles) If your issue isn’t listed, that doesn’t mean we can’t provide counselling or help you – just ask!

Please see each counsellor’s profile page for more information about their practice, including location, costs and how to contact them via contact form, email or by phone.

We warmly welcome enquiries from members of all ethnicities, cultural backgrounds, genders, sexual orientations, abilities, religious beliefs and socio-economic circumstances.
