Sometimes it helps to talk to someone in a space that’s just for you. If something feels overwhelming or if a problem doesn’t seem to be getting any better it can help to talk – and to be really listened to by someone who is warm, empathic and non-judgemental.

As a counsellor I have worked with people who have difficulties with anxiety, depression, grief and other kinds of loss, childhood abuse and neglect, bullying, rape, post-traumatic stress, work-related stress, sexuality and relationships. I have worked with clients of all ages and am experienced in short-term counselling as well as longer term work. I also have a special interest in infertility and women’s health and have worked in that field for many years.

I have a Postgraduate Diploma in Counselling from the University of Edinburgh and trained in both the person centred and psychodynamic approaches. I also have a Masters in Healthcare Leadership and postgraduate training in fertility.

I am a registered member of the British Association of Counsellors and Psychotherapists (BACP) and the British Infertility Counselling Association.

Fees for counselling sessions with Dee Armstrong: £60 per session.
